New Hope-Solebury High School Music Performance at the 80th Memorial of Pearl Harbor in Waikiki, Hawaii
Creating music has been Jake's calm, both at home and in school, for most of his life. Through research, he learned that music releases dopamine and activates both the left and right brain at the same time. Activating both hemispheres can maximize learning and improve memory. A profound memory related to music is from looking out into a sea of Veterans, and their families, during his high school music department's performance in the 80th Memorial of Pearl Harbor in Waikiki. You could see the painful, yet proud, memories in their eyes while performing, “America the Beautiful” to the rhythmic flapping of flags in the wind.

Music has enabled Jake to bring people together in creative ways and bring joy to others. He has found that helping others through doing the things that he loves (whether it's performing for Veterans, leading and guiding young athletes, creating a small business to meet a need, or participating in community service events with family and friends), is the best gift of all.

Please listen to some of Jake's compositions:

Con[grad]ulations
What first started to be a recreation of Mac Miller's Congratulations took a turn into Jake's favorite beat that he has created so far. The theme is a video game or film score like intense beat filled with energy, dreaming, and the contemplation of a graduate's future.
02
Joey B
This beat was inspired by one of the artists that Jake listens to. It's a chill background vibe.

Best
The name of this beat is somewhat deceiving because it was the first beat Jake created (and best at the time). This beat also follows the same pattern as Joey B but is a bit more like backcountry snowboarding filled with climbing, flow, and curiosity.

JPL Productions V1.1
This was the second beat Jake created and it took a slightly techno/pop version of hip hop/rap. It's somewhat dreamy with a solid flow and a nod to Netfix's Stranger Things.

A glimpse of Jake's early years in music...

Jake often learned to play songs by ear like this one from Blink 182. He recently taught himself how to play guitar and has composed songs and also enjoy playing other's like America's A Horse With No Name.
